Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, James Shark!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Adam Johnsom!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Robert Twigg and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shark throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Johnsom tries for a takedown but Shark circles away easily
and Shark counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Johnsom waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Shark.
Johnsom shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Shark but Shark pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Shark ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Johnsom tries for a takedown but Shark sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
James Shark has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Adam Johnsom.
Shark fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Johnsom with a poor takedown
and Shark counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Shark punishes Johnsom's body with a nice straight punch.
Johnsom looks winded!
Shark tries to bum rush Johnsom with a series of wild strikes but Johnsom uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Shark pushes Johnsom up against the cage in a clinch.
Johnsom jumps guard but Shark stands there with Johnsom around his waist. Johnsom gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Shark breaks from the clinch.

Shark gets a clinch.
A short body shot lands from Shark as the two fighters clinch.
Shark misses with a knee strike.
Shark stops a takedown attempt from Johnsom.

Shark escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Johnsom doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Shark counters with a left to the body.
Shark stalks Johnsom and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Johnsom's face. Johnsom staggers backwards, shaken.
Johnsom is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Shark.
Shark is really turning it up, unleashing another crisp combination which drops Johnsom like a ton of bricks! The referee dives in to stop the fight, saving Johnsom from another fist facial!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). James Shark!
James Shark was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
