Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rodger Morse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chen Long (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Long has chosen Boss Mode as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rodger Morse! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chen Long! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Gwen Towbar and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Long closes the distance and clinches. Morse tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Long smiles and moves away.
Morse tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Long manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Long throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Long is looking to clinch. Chen Long seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Long moves into the clinch successfully.
Morse tries to pull guard but Long holds him up against the cage and eventually Morse drops back down to his feet.
Morse tries for a takedown but Long manages to get underhooks.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rodger Morse. That's going to take a lot out of him. Morse with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Long tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Long's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Long tries to clinch but Morse is having none of it. Morse closes this distance looking for a takedown but Long circles away. A nice side step and Long releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Morse tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Long wants to counter with a clinch but Morse pushes him away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Long gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Morse to score an easy takedown into full guard. Long looking to control.
Long seems keen to control Morse's posture. Morse looking to sit in guard and control but Long gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Morse will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Morse working for a triangle but Long defends it easily.
Morse not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Long passes Morse's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Long trying to control the action but Morse is working from the bottom. Long tries to pass the half guard into mount. Morse knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Morse is looking to control Long's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Morse avoid being mounted? Morse knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Long on the ground. Long working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Morse is trying to stand back up but Long is controlling him
Long is trying to work for a kimura but Morse is defending well.
Long trying to control the action but Morse is working from the bottom. Morse has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Long escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Long! Long decides to stand back up. Long steps back and let's Morse get back to his feet. Morse darts in and clinches Long up against the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Long wants the takedown. Morse is fighting it off but Long persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Morse's guard against the cage. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Long is pushing down on Morse's leg trying to pass to half guard. Morse is fighting to maintain full guard but Long has managed to sneak the leg through. Morse is staying active underneath Long, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Long not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Long is working for a submission of some sort.
Long tries to stand but can't do so whilst Morse controls his leg. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Morse trying to control from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chen Long dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Long misses with a double jab.
Morse swats away the attempt to clinch by Long. Long shoots in for a takedown and gets it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Long works his way into side control. Morse really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Morse wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Morse strikes from the bottom but Long takes advantage and advances to full mount!
That's one minute gone in the round. Long looking to control but Morse is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Long punishing his opponent with strikes. Morse tries to hold on but Long postures up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Morse squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.

Morse is really trying hard to get back to his feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Long controlling his opponent. Oh Morse is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Long is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Long extends the arm and Morse is forced to tap!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:28 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Chen Long! A relieved looking Chen Long thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
