Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Alexandr Nikitin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Piotr Rasputin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nikitin comes into the arena with Smack My Bitch Up blaring out of the sound system. Rasputin has chosen Evil Scarecrow- Robotatron as his entrance music. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Alexandr Nikitin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Piotr Rasputin!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Anni Minnemäki and Johanna Lukiainen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nikitin misses with a hook.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Rasputin misses with a head shot. Nikitin uses the momentum to regain guard.

Nikitin has his foot on Rasputin's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Rasputin works his way back into a safe position though.

Piotr Rasputin showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Nikitin with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Nikitin jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Rasputin is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Rasputin and Nikitin has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
