Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Glen Danzig (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Saul Garcia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Danzig kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is The Misfits- Night of the Living Dead. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Danzig scores with a nice strike.
Danzig throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Garcia shoots and misses
and Garcia takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Garcia doesn't manage to clinch there - Danzig circles away.
Danzig swats away the attempt to clinch by Garcia.
Danzig throws a half hearted mid kick.
Danzig stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Danzig avoids a kick to the body.
Garcia takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Danzig slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Danzig lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Danzig.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Garcia shoots in but Danzig avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Garcia shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Danzig defends it nicely.
Glen Danzig has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Saul Garcia.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Danzig scores with a jab. Garcia acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Garcia is rocked!
Garcia tries to clinch but Danzig moves away
and Danzig counters with a crisp right that sends Garcia to the canvas! Danzig follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Glen Danzig!
Glen Danzig is the new lightweight champion!
Glen Danzig decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
