Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Onkel Bergmann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Derrick Deadwood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bergmann comes to the cage accompanied by Never Give Up. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

18 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Derrick Deadwood!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Daniel Bishop and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Deadwood lands a jab.
Bergmann wants to land a leg kick but Deadwood is out of range.
Bergmann throws a low kick but Deadwood avoids it.
Deadwood throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Bergmann sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Bergmann shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Bergmann was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bergmann misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Deadwood just misses with a punch to the body.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Bergmann feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
