And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 32 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Peter Knapp!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Trevor Gratis and Dillan Fox.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knapp bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Gruber lands a jab-cross combination.

It looks like Peter Knapp has been cut.
Knapp throws a head kick that misses.
Knapp throws out a loose jab but Gruber uses good head movement to avoid it.
Knapp dives in for a single leg takedown but Gruber sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Gruber goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Knapp is rocked!
Gruber tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Knapp was well out of range. Poor timing from Gruber.
Knapp tries a quick counter leg kick but Gruber is wise to it.
Knapp is still on wobbly legs! Can Gruber finish him?
A jab lands there for Gruber.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Gruber uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Knapp.
Knapp seems to have recovered his senses.

Gruber closes the distance and clinches.
Gruber has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Knapp after a bit of a struggle.

Knapp breaks the clinch.
Gruber lands an overhand right.
Gruber steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Knapp.
Knapp throws a low kick but it's checked well by Gruber.
Gruber fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Knapp manages to avoid it.
Knapp is looking for the big counter here.

Knapp throws a body kick that misses.
Knapp on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Peter Knapp seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gruber swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Knapp keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Knapp fails with the takedown.
Gruber swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Gruber's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Knapp connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Gruber scrambles back to his feet.
Gruber misses with a looping left.
Knapp cracks Gruber with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Knapp misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Knapp rushes Gruber and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Knapp misses with a short punch on the inside.

Gruber ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Gruber no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Knapp wants to stand but Gruber has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Gruber tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Gruber is trying to control the position from the bottom.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Knapp slips a jab and a cross from Gruber.
Knapp misses with a takedown attempt - Gruber sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Hans Gruber has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Peter Knapp.
