Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between ZulfiQar Tyson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zach Dahl (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are George Francis, Cecil Peabody and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dahl shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Tyson as he avoids it easily.
Tyson closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Dahl is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Tyson pulls his head out easily.

Tyson is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Tyson is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Dahl reverses the position - he's now on top in Tyson's guard.
Dahl postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Tyson is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Dahl, into his guard.

Tyson is looking to control Dahl but Dahl is wriggling around and keeping busy.
Tyson is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Dahl is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Tyson is on top in guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Tyson closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Dahl is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Tyson off and has taken his back!

That was a close round but I would say that ZulfiQar Tyson will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tyson is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Dahl is just riding it out for now. Tyson eventually gives up the hold.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to ZulfiQar Tyson.
Well Tyson has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
