The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rasheed shoots for a takedown but Wickam saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Nice sprawl there from Wickam as Rasheed shoots in.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Rasheed is defended easily by Wickam.
Wickam throws a counter combo.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Saif Rasheed. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Rasheed misses with a takedown attempt - Wickam sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Wickam throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Wickam has worked on his takedown defense in the runup to this fight and it is paying off so far.

Wickam uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Rasheed has time to react.
Randall Wickam seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Rasheed shoots in looking for a takedown. Wickam tries to sprawl out of it but Rasheed keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Wickam manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Wickam throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Rasheed sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Wickam gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Rasheed to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Rasheed is looking to work some ground and pound but Wickam has wrist control.

Rasheed has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Wickam is looking to pass into half guard but Rasheed pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Rasheed is in guard.

We've been hearing that Rasheed has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
