Hensley comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Eye of The Tiger kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The key to victory for Truman Petersen has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Truman Petersen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Caleb Hensley!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Jeff Smith and Josh West.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hensley moves into the clinch.
Petersen has had enough of the clinch but Hensley keeps him there for the moment.
Petersen wants to break free but Hensley has control.

Hensley darts in and clinches Petersen up against the cage.

Hensley manages to break the clinch.
Hensley shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Petersen but Petersen pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Petersen swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Petersen changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hensley tries to avoid it but Petersen manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hensley to the ground. Hensley escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Hensley closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Petersen is trying to break the clinch but Hensley has him pressed against the cage.

Petersen wants to get back to striking at distance but Hensley won't allow it.

Hensley is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Petersen to keep the fight standing.

Truman Petersen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Caleb Hensley.
Hensley is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Petersen pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Hensley has Petersen pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Hensley pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Petersen tumbling to the mat - Hensley dives into Petersen's guard.
Hensley slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Petersen wants to stand and escape but Hensley is having none of it.

It looks like Hensley might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Petersen is wriggling around but Hensley manages to pass to half guard.

Petersen knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hensley on the ground.
Petersen tries to kick Hensley off but Hensley keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Hensley shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Hensley postures up and lands a big shot to Petersen's brow.
Petersen can't keep his opponent in guard - Hensley advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Hensley is controlling the pace.
Hensley frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Petersen is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

It looks like Truman Petersen has been cut.

Hensley has hold of an arm here, looking to extend it. He's committed to the armbar attempt here! Will he get it?! Yes! Petersen is forced to tap!
