Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Gilberto Chamba!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Temudjin Khaan!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Radbod Blank and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chamba fails to land the takedown.
Chamba fails with a takedown attempt.
Khaan throws a body punch but Chamba moves out of range.
Khaan's jab looks to have found its range, popping Chamba under the eye.
Khaan checks a leg kick.
Chamba shoots in but no luck this time.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gilberto Chamba. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Chamba misses with a takedown attempt - Khaan sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Chamba looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Chamba doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Khaan counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Khaan scores with a spinning back kick!
Chamba gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Khaan counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Chamba shoots in but Khaan avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Khaan now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Temudjin Khaan is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Chamba takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Khaan connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Chamba shoots and misses
and Chamba takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
An inside leg kick lands from Khaan.
Khaan dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Chamba. That did some damage!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Chamba shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Khaan but Khaan pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Khaan lands with a nice body punch.
Chamba has his takedown stuffed
and Khaan counters with a nice uppercut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Chamba misses with a takedown attempt
and Khaan cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
It looks like Gilberto Chamba has been cut.
Chamba throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Khaan's waist but Khaan gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Chamba off to one side.
Khaan lands with a straight right. Chamba didn't see that one coming.

Chamba misses with a takedown attempt
and Khaan counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Temudjin Khaan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Khaan connects with a body shot that sends Chamba's belly button to the back.
Chamba takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Chamba is rocked!
A left lands for Khaan.
Oh Chamba is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Khaan cracks the inside of Chamba's front leg.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Khaan, right into the meat.
A slapping leg kick lands for Khaan.
Chamba closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Khaan drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Chamba right on the button. Chamba goes down! Khaan follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Khaan gets the win via TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Temudjin Khaan!
A very excited looking Temudjin Khaan made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
