Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Nard Betker and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sukayev throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Lu sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Sukayev has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Lu is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Sukayev lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
It looks like Ji Lu has been cut.
Sukayev avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Sukayev misses with a kick to the body.
Lu circles away from the clinch attempt
and Lu counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Lu's corner calls for a 1-2. Lu obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lu walks into a stiff left hand from Sukayev.
Lu is looking to slow Sukayev down with leg kicks.
Sukayev keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Lu.
Sukayev tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Lu swats away the attempt to clinch by Sukayev.

Lu scores with a sloppy right hand. Sukayev should have avoided that one.

As Sukayev backs away, Lu returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Lu pounces like a tiger and cracks Sukayev with a vicious hook! Sukayev is down but not out! Lu follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Ji Lu!
Post fight, Ji Lu stared into the camera and said 'BOOM! Gotcha.'.
