Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Reverend Sin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boy Nelson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Reverend Sin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Boy Nelson!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Bruno Lombardi and Jorge Garcia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sin avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Sin lands a jab to the head.


It looks like Boy Nelson has been cut.
Nelson fails in his attempt to clinch.
Sin misses with a head kick.
Nelson should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Nice sprawl there from Sin as Nelson shoots in.
Sin looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Nelson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Sin paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Sin throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Sin goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Sin swings wildly with an uppercut but Nelson uses good head movement to avoid it.

Sin is leaning against Nelson and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.

Sin pushes off an throws an elbow but Nelson leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Sin gets through Nelson's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Sin can't find room to land a body shot as Nelson controls the action.
Nelson prevents a body shot from Sin.

Nelson manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Sin is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Sin throwing strikes from guard but Nelson blocks nicely.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Nelson is on top in guard.


Nelson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Sin has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Nelson has managed to get both his arms back between Sin's legs - danger averted.

Nelson drops back, looking for a kneebar! Sin looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Sin looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Sin!

Sin stands up.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Sin pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Nelson unleashes a big counter combination but Sin bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Nelson is looking to clinch.
Nelson avoids the head kick by Sin.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Nelson will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Reverend Sin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Boy Nelson.

Sin gets tackled into the cage by Nelson. Nelson maintains the clinch.
Nelson managing to block the knees to the body from Sin.
Sin misses with a body punch.
Sin tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Nelson tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Nelson blocks an uppercut.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Sin just misses with a elbow thrown towards Nelson's brow.
Sin scores with an uppercut up the middle.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Reverend Sin dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Boy Nelson's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Nelson shoots in and drives through. Sin sprawls well.
Sin circles away from the clinch attempt.
Sin wants to land a leg kick but Nelson is out of range.

Nelson gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Nelson blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Nelson tightens his grip and picks Sin up, before dumping him to the ground. Sin manages to land in guard.

Sin kicks Nelson off and gets to his feet.
Nelson throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Sin throws a big shot that misses.

Nelson has taken the fight to the clinch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Sin swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Sin tries to land knees in the clinch but Nelson avoids the damage to the body.
Sin throws a punch but it's blocked by Nelson.
Nelson blocking some punches.

Nelson jumps into guard, dragging Sin to the mat.
Nelson wants to stand but Sin is controlling the position.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Nelson is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Nelson is breathing heavily.
Sin is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Sin wanted to stand there but Nelson had control of the position.
Boy Nelson has got the better of the ground game so far.
Sin looking to pass the guard.

Nelson is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Sin defends well.
Sin wants to control from the top but Nelson keeps moving.
Sin looking to control the position here, rather than advance.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Nelson utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Nelson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Sin can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Sin wants to control from the top but Nelson keeps moving.

Sin stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Nelson has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Sin manages to get his head free but now Nelson has transitioned to an armbar! Sin grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Nelson! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Boy Nelson!
