PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight kickboxing rules bout between Nieky Paauwers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kyle Sackrider (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Paauwers comes into the arena with Eminem – Guts Over Fear (ft. Sia) blaring out of the sound system. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kyle Sackrider!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Sam Margolis and Richard Clark.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paauwers is looking to clinch.
Sackrider on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Paauwers. Paauwers obviously looking to wear him down.
Some wild striking there from Paauwers.
Paauwers throws a nice inside leg kick.
Sackrider lands with a thumping leg kick.
Paauwers misses with a leg kick
and Sackrider counters with a nice low kick that buckles Paauwers's knee momentarily.
Sackrider on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Sackrider ducks under a wild hook from Paauwers.
Paauwers closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
An inside leg kick from Sackrider misses.
Sackrider lands an overhand right.
Paauwers seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Paauwers scoring well with a low kick there.
Good leg kick by Paauwers there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Paauwers on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.

Sackrider works Paauwers's body with a nice hook.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Sackrider.
Sackrider lands with a shot to the body.
Paauwers closes the distance looking to clinch
and Sackrider cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Sackrider clinches up against the cage.
Sackrider lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Paauwers connects with a knee to the head.

Sackrider breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Paauwers pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Paauwers looks for the body kick but Sackrider saw that one coming.
Sackrider lands with an overhand left.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Paauwers misses with a lunging right hand
and Sackrider counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Paauwers walks straight into devastating uppercut and drops to the floor, clearly wobbled! Can he beat the count? 4,5,6,7... he's up! And he's down again! The ref steps in and calls an end to the fight! What a punch that was!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Kyle Sackrider!
A relieved looking Kyle Sackrider thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
