The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Di Fiscille looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Starks feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Starks passes into half guard.
Starks looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Starks wants to work for an arm triangle but Di Fiscille is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Starks is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Di Fiscille looks calm but he's in trouble here. Starks gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Di Fiscille is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Starks lets go of the hold and Di Fiscille can pop his arm back in it's socket.
