Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jak Ethan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kurt the wrestler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kurt the wrestler!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Robert Twigg and Alan Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ethan throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around the wrestler's waist but the wrestler gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ethan off to one side.
the wrestler tries to clinch there but Ethan circles away.
Ethan darts in trying to clinch
and the wrestler counters with a nice body kick.

and the wrestler counters with a nice double leg into side control. Ethan won't be happy with that.
Ethan is not content to let the wrestler control the position.
Ethan is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

the wrestler tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Ethan is looking to reverse the position.

the wrestler stands up and beckons Ethan to his feet.
Ethan shoots in but the wrestler avoids the takedown attempt easily.
the wrestler punishes Ethan's body with a nice straight punch.
Ethan misses with a shot to the body
and the wrestler counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Ethan is breathing heavily.
the wrestler looking to land some kicks to the body here.
the wrestler attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.

Ethan forces the wrestler back against the cage and clinches.
Ethan is trying to break free.

the wrestler stalling the fight.
Ethan misses with a punch on the inside.
the wrestler is leaning against Ethan and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Ethan looks to throw an elbow but misses.
the wrestler goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
the wrestler misses with a shot to the kidneys.
the wrestler stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Ethan working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Ethan looking for a takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jak Ethan. That's going to take a lot out of him.
the wrestler jumps guard but Ethan stands there with the wrestler around his waist. the wrestler gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Ethan tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Ethan manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Ethan drops down looking for an ankle pick but the wrestler pulls his leg out and moves away.

the wrestler wants to land a leg kick but Ethan is out of range.
Ethan is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

and the wrestler counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Ethan looking to control but the wrestler passes into half guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. the wrestler connects with a nice short shot to Ethan's temple.
the wrestler thows a huge punch but Ethan dodges it nicely.
Ethan is looking to control the wrestler's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Ethan avoid being mounted?
Ethan slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Ethan looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
the wrestler wants to control from the top but Ethan keeps moving.
the wrestler might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Ethan kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
the wrestler wants to pass the guard but Ethan is keeping the position.
the wrestler has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Oh Ethan is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

the wrestler in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Ethan tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from the wrestler!
