Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Regis Lobo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and charles white (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
white throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Lobo sees it coming and avoids it easily.
white throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lobo's waist but Lobo gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing white off to one side.
Lobo feints and as white raises his hands in defense, Lobo changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now white is on top in guard.

Lobo had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. white is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Lobo Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take white's back instead.

white feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
