Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Roger Cantor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jingle Jingle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jingle has chosen Kay Kyser - Jingle Jangle Jingle as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Jingle Jingle enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Roger Cantor! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jingle Jingle! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cantor defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Jingle. Jingle shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Cantor as he jumps to the side. Cantor throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Jingle tries for a takedown but Cantor sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Roger Cantor has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jingle Jingle. Jingle misses with a takedown attempt and Cantor counters with a one-two to the body. Jingle is trying hard to land a takedown here. Cantor sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Jingle fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Jingle closes this distance looking for a takedown but Cantor circles away. Cantor throws a hook to the side of Jingle's head but Jingle sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cantor thumps Jingle with a low kick. Jingle misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Jingle throws a series of punches but Cantor moves out of range. Nice uppercut there from Jingle.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cantor stuns Jingle with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Jingle shoots in for a takedown but Cantor shows good takedown defense. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Cantor, right into the meat.

Jingle misses with a takedown attempt - Cantor sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Jingle lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Cantor backs up against the cage.
Jingle shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Cantor pinned against the cage. Cantor gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Jingle tries for a takedown but Cantor sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Cantor looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger. Cantor attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Jingle goes for a double leg but Cantor avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Cantor continues to drive forward. Cantor throws a quick counter head kick but Jingle was just out of range. Cantor takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Cantor tries to sprawl but Jingle drives through with a takedown into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Cantor trying to control from the bottom.
Cantor keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Jingle is nestled in close to Cantor, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Jingle wants to take a breather but Cantor is having none of it. Cantor pushes Jingle off looking to stand but Jingle dives back in and keeps control.
The fighters are battling for position here. Cantor manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Jingle has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Cantor looking to control.
Jingle in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cantor controls Jingle momentarily but Jingle frees himself. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Jingle Jingle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Cantor appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick. Jingle misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Jingle jabbing away but nothing is landing. Jingle moves in looking to clinch but Cantor pushes him off. Cantor fires out a quick counter leg kick but Jingle just manages to avoid it. Cantor fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Cantor scores with a one two! Jingle had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Jingle throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Cantor counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Cantor tries to score with a low kick but Jingle moves his leg out of the way. Cantor defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Jingle. Roger Cantor is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. A jab from Cantor misses. Cantor takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Jingle fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Cantor avoids it really well and circles away. Cantor stuns Jingle with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Jingle shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Cantor defends it nicely. Cantor throwing a counter right hand but Jingle manages to avoid it. Jingle cracks Cantor with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Jingle looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Jingle looks winded! Cantor appears to be looking for a big counter. Cantor connects with a leg kick. Jingle looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. It looked like Cantor was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Jingle. Jingle changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Cantor tries to avoid it but Jingle manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Cantor to the ground. Cantor escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Cantor jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit. Roger Cantor has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jingle Jingle. Jingle misses with a takedown attempt and Cantor cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. A leg kick checked by Jingle. Cantor lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Cantor defends it nicely.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Cantor dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Jingle. That did some damage! Jingle throwing strikes but missing. Cantor seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Cantor is trying to keep Jingle in close.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Cantor looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Jingle Jingle has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Jingle throwing strikes from guard but Cantor blocks nicely.
And that's the end of the fight! Roger Cantor showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Cantor, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
