Blackmore has chosen 16th century greensleeves as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yukihiro Shimada and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blackmore tries to land a front kick but Datsik steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Datsik rushes Blackmore and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Datsik lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Blackmore throws a head punch that misses.
Blackmore throws an elbow but it misses.
Datsik throws a head punch that misses.
Datsik escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Blackmore on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Blackmore looks to throw the jab but Datsik is out of range.
Blackmore tried to score with a low kick but Datsik checks it.
Datsik connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Datsik tries to score a power double leg takedown but Blackmore sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Datsik somewhat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A slow jab from Blackmore misses its intended target.
Datsik avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Blackmore avoids the body shot from Datsik.
Blackmore swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Ritchie Blackmore is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Blackmore looks to throw a body kick
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Datsik checks a low kick from Blackmore.
Datsik lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Blackmore takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Blackmore sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Blackmore has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Datsik.
Datsik throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Blackmore misses with an attempted mid kick.
Datsik tries to land a front kick but Blackmore steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Datsik explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Datsik moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Datsik bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Datsik lands a jab to the nose.
Datsik tests Blackmore's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Blackmore throws a series of punches but Datsik avoids them all with ease.
Blackmore takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Blackmore cracks Datsik with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Datsik lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Datsik ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Blackmore moves away.
Blackmore feints a counter leg kick.
Datsik lands a big head kick that sends Blackmore tumbling to the mat! Datsik takes a step backwards and waves Blackmore back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Blackmore is rocked!
Datsik lands a big uppercut and this one is all over! His foe lies motionless on the canvas - a massive one punch knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Donnie Datsik!
Donnie Datsik decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
Ritchie Blackmore was interviewed post fight and said 'You WILL see me again'.
