Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Julio Quanero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boy Nelson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Quanero comes to the cage accompanied by 537 CUBA. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Julio Quanero!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Boy Nelson!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Shigeki Fujiwara and Kenichi Hosakawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quanero throws a sloppy head kick and Nelson moves out of range easily.
Nelson tries to clinch there but Quanero circles away.
A combination from Quanero does no damage.

Nelson shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Nelson seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Quanero does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Nelson is trying to work for a kimura but Quanero is defending well.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Quanero manages to get to full guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Quanero controls Nelson momentarily but Nelson frees himself.
Quanero is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Nelson is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Quanero pulls his head out easily.

Quanero gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
Julio Quanero seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Quanero misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Quanero tries to bum rush Nelson with a series of wild strikes but Nelson uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Nelson shoots in looking for a takedown but Quanero manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Nelson's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Quanero sends Nelson crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Quanero is motioning to the referee to let Nelson up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

It looks like Boy Nelson has been cut.

Quanero lands a brutal uppercut that launches Nelson off his feet! Nelson tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
