Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Robert Boone!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jackson Frost!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Stewart Dunkirk and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frost fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Boone ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Frost dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Frost throws a low kick, looking for Boone's leg but Boone calmly moves out of range.
Jackson Frost seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Frost buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Frost tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Boone was well out of range. Poor timing from Frost.

Boone changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Frost looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Boone throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Frost felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Boone postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Boone trying to control the position but Frost is working away.
Frost sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
We've been hearing that Boone has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
Frost wants to improve his position but Boone is controlling well.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Frost can do anything to dispel that myth.
Boone working the head and body with strikes.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Boone wants to pass to mount but Frost is defending the position.
Boone works his foot free and advances to mount.
Boone scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Frost?
Boone tries to control but Frost wriggling away.
Boone has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Frost's face.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Frost taking shots to the head.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Boone content just to control the position here.

Boone is working for a guillotine from mount but Frost frees his head quite easily.
Boone lands a nice shot to the head.
Frost holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Boone tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Frost tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Boone lands a big shot there that rocks Frost but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Frost tries to reverse the position but Boone maintains control.
Boone working away from the top, dropping strikes.
Boone lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Boone drops a big elbow. That's hurt Frost! More shots from Boone and the ref steps in! The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Robert Boone!
Robert Boone is the new super heavyweight champion!
A relieved looking Robert Boone thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
