Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Chris Downing and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ruggiero fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Bill sprawls well initially but Ruggiero persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Ruggiero's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Ruggiero passes to full mount!
Bill is in a horrible position here. Ruggiero smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ruggiero lands a big elbow.
Ruggiero won't let Bill get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Bill is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Ruggiero locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Bill is forced to tap!
