Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Roger Little!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Peelo Pulkkinen!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Daniel Franklin and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Little works Pulkkinen's body with a nice hook.
Pulkkinen misses with a leg kick.
Pulkkinen has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Little is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Pulkkinen attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Pulkkinen lands with a shot to the body.
Pulkkinen throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

No luck with that takedown attempt from Little.
Pulkkinen fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Little on the side of the head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pulkkinen has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Little finds it's way round the side to connect with Pulkkinen's head.
Little uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Pulkkinen.
Pulkkinen just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromLittle.
Little on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Little dives in for a single leg takedown but Pulkkinen sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Pulkkinen feints and then cracks Little's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Little down.

Pulkkinen misses with a hook.
Little takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Little misses with a wild body shot.

Little misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Little clinches up with Pulkkinen and pushes him back against the cage.

Little wants to break the clinch but can't.
Pulkkinen using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Little has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Pulkkinen uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Little walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Pulkkinen misses with a hook from the clinch.
Little looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Little can't find room to land a body shot as Pulkkinen controls the action.

Little's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Pulkkinen throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Little sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Little throws a big counter combination but Pulkkinen scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

and Little counters with a nice uppercut.
Pulkkinen connects with a good right hand that stumbles Little. Little circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Pulkkinen throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Little takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Pulkkinen throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Pulkkinen tries to close the distance and clinch but Little swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Little connects with a good right hand that stumbles Pulkkinen. Pulkkinen circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Peelo Pulkkinen dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Pulkkinen avoids a punch combination nicely.
Little with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Pulkkinen to score with a decent uppercut.
Roger Little seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Little lands with a kick to the temple. Pulkkinen shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Pulkkinen missing with a left hand there. Little was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
A looping hook to the body misses from Pulkkinen. Little does a little dance to reset his feet.
Little rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Pulkkinen moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Little uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Pulkkinen.
Little was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Little takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Little tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Pulkkinen was well out of range. Poor timing from Little.
Pulkkinen steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Little.
Nice shot lands for Pulkkinen.


Little is rocked!
Pulkkinen drops Little with a big left hand! Little is injured, injured bad! Pulkkinen jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
