Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lucas Podolski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Marajuara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lucas Podolski looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Wagner Zegers and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marajuara shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Podolski manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Podolski looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Podolski is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Some bone on bone action there as Marajuara checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Marajuara connects with a nice short shot to Podolski's temple.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Marajuara should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Marajuara lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Podolski down.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Marajuara is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Podolski is defending against the submission attempts here by Marajuara.
Marajuara is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Podolski is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
