Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jay Dee BJ (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonny Jon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jay Dee BJ! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jonny Jon! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jon tries to sprawl but BJ drives through with a takedown into half guard. BJ not landing any meaningful shots this time. BJ is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Jon pushes BJ off but BJ dives into side control.
Jon prevents BJ from moving into mount. Jon is not content to let BJ control the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. BJ tries to score with some ground and pound. Jon controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. BJ knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jon on the ground. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. BJ prevents Jon from escaping the position. BJ has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Jon struggling a bit here. Jon tries to escape but BJ is in control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jon is trying to improve his position. BJ is looking to take a break and control but Jon is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. BJ lands a nice forearm strike. Jon tries to strike from the bottom but misses. Jon wants to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. An elbow from BJ crashes against the mat.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Jon has taken the fight to the clinch.
BJ gets a trip takedown into half guard. BJ content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Jon makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Jon.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jon is working an open guard so BJ takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. BJ drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Jon has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes BJ off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. BJ stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and BJ wants it to stay on the feet. Jon tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but BJ defends well and Jon ends up having to push BJ into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Jon stuffs the takedown. Jon instigates a clinch. BJ avoiding damage as Jon throws knees to the body.
BJ tries to pull guard but Jon forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Jon successfully pulls guard.
Jon has his feet on BJ's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! BJ shoots for a takedown but Jon saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jay Dee BJ. That's going to take a lot out of him. BJ looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Jon is fending him off so far but BJ persists. Nope, Jon circles away and we're back to standing. Jon changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. BJ tries to avoid it but Jon manages to keep hold of a leg and drag BJ to the ground. BJ escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Jon misses with a two punch combination.
It looked like BJ wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jon misses with a double jab.
BJ appears to be looking for a big counter. BJ looking to score a takedown here. Jon is defending well but BJ drives through and ends up in Jon's guard. BJ trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Jon manages to escape and get back to his feet.

Jon throws a right and a left that BJ avoids nicely. BJ shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. BJ trying to control from Jon's half guard. Jon has other ideas though and has regained full guard. We've been informed that Jon has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. BJ postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Jonny Jon will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Jon throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by BJ. Jon has closed the distance and engaged BJ in a clinch.

BJ has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. BJ scoring with some ground and pound. BJ with a flurry of punches that miss. BJ prevents Jon from getting back to his feet. BJ throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Jon escapes and throws BJ's legs to the side, diving into side control! BJ is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Jon is one step ahead and moves to full mount! Jon is working for a guillotine from mount but BJ frees his head quite easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. BJ is trying desperately to improve position. Jon is going oldschool here, as he tries to force BJ to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so BJ shrugs it off. Jon has been the more effective fighter overall so far. BJ's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. BJ working to try and regain half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. BJ is desperately trying to improve his position but Jon has a good base and remains in mount. BJ tries to hold on but Jon pushes him away. BJ is looking to improve his position but Jon isn't that keen on the idea. Jonny Jon has got the better of the ground game so far. BJ is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. BJ sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. BJ trying to control but Jon postures up.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Jon missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. BJ looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Jon stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Jonny Jon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. BJ is trying hard to land a takedown here. Jon sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Jon moves into the clinch successfully.
Jon decides to pull guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! BJ looking to sit in guard and control but Jon gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Jon trying to stand up but can't free himself from BJ's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jonny Jon showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as BJ walks away with a smile on his face. Jon gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Jon misses with a two punch combination.

Jon wants to get back to his feet. BJ scores with punches from side control. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. BJ decides to stand up, so the ref orders Jon to his feet.

Jon swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. BJ shoots for a double leg takedown but Jon sprawls well. He's pushed BJ's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Despite the aggression on Jon's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Jon slaps away a takedown attempt from BJ, before circling back to the center of the mat. Jon shoots in but no luck this time. BJ throws a big counter combination but Jon scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. BJ dodges the punch combination from Jon.

and BJ counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Jon wants to clinch. Jon tries to score a power double leg takedown but BJ sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jon somewhat. Jay Dee BJ has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jonny Jon. BJ clinches up against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jon is trying to pull guard but BJ turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Jon tries to break free but BJ pushes him back against the cage. Jon is trying to maintain a safe position but BJ gets an underhook and turns Jon into the cage. Good body shot from BJ.
Jon takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. BJ gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Jon regains guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! BJ drops back, looking for a kneebar! Jon looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Jon looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Jon! BJ is trying to get back to half guard. BJ is not content to let Jon control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jon fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Jon passes to full mount! That's big trouble for BJ! BJ gets back to half guard. BJ looking for submissions off his back. BJ wants to improve his position but Jon is controlling well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. BJ slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Jonny Jon is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. BJ had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Jon defends it easily. BJ is looking for a triangle but Jon pushes his legs off easily.
Jay Dee BJ has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Jon wants to control from the top but BJ keeps moving.
And that's the end of the fight! Jay Dee BJ showed his dominance in that final round. I think Jon has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
