Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Chris Gunn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeff Zumo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jeff Zumo!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Chris Downing and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zumo walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Gunn is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Zumo.
Zumo shoots in and drives through. Gunn sprawls well.
Gunn went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Gunn connects with a good right hand that stumbles Zumo. Zumo circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Zumo throws a big shot that misses.
Gunn throws a big counter combination but Zumo scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Zumo lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Gunn circles away quickly and effectively.
Gunn was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Zumo slips under a jab.
Gunn moves away from the strike by Zumo.

Gunn tries to move into range but Zumo moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Gunn scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Gunn has been working on his boxing with his coaches at gym closing in the buildup to the fight.
Zumo cracks Gunn with a good jab.
Zumo misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Gunn.
Gunn moves out of range as Zumo strikes.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Zumo swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
As Zumo looks to move away, Gunn throws a big counter combo bu Zumo just gets out of the way.
Gunn walks into a stiff left hand from Zumo.

Zumo throws a jab when Gunn was well out of range.
Gunn throws an overhand right that lands on Zumo's shoulder, as Zumo tries to avoid the shot.
Zumo uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Gunn.
Zumo throws the left hand but Gunn avoids the punch easily.
Gunn closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Zumo looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Gunn throws a hook to the side of Zumo's head but Zumo sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Zumo darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Gunn slips under a jab.
Sloppy strikes from Zumo. Those never looked like landing.
Zumo fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Zumo is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Zumo fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Gunn throwing a counter right hand but Zumo manages to avoid it.
Gunn scores with a crisp jab that stopped Zumo in his tracks.

Gunn looks to land a left hand but Zumo moved out of range nicely.
Zumo shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Gunn not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Zumo trying to control the position from guard on top but Gunn is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Zumo's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Gunn holds on and takes a little breather.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gunn is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Gunn has Zumo pulled in close to control his posture.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Zumo throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Gunn on the side of the head.
A jab from Zumo does it's job there.
Zumo connects with a right hand. Gunn shakes it off.
Zumo has his takedown stuffed
and Gunn cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Chris Gunn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jeff Zumo.

Zumo is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.

The fighters circling - Zumo throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Gunn was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Zumo bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Zumo shoots in and drives through. Gunn sprawls well.
Jeff Zumo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Zumo throws a lazy right hand but Gunn sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Gunn steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Zumo.
Zumo is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Gunn had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Zumo drops his hands momentarily and Gunn takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Zumo is rocked!
Zumo walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Zumo limp body while Gunn jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Chris Gunn!
