Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dan Cardy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Ji Sung (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Dan Cardy! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Dave Ji Sung! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, William Gold and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cardy gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ji Sung stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cardy swivels though and keeps the full guard. Cardy is trying to keep Ji Sung in close.
Cardy has his foot on Ji Sung's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Ji Sung works his way back into a safe position though. Cardy looking to hit a scissor sweep but Ji Sung is one step ahead there. Cardy looking for a guillotine here but Ji Sung defends easily.
Ji Sung trying to control but Cardy is working from the bottom. Ji Sung drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Ji Sung jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Ji Sung wants to control from the top but Cardy keeps moving.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Ji Sung scores with a takedown into Cardy's guard. Ji Sung postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cardy keeping moving, preventing Ji Sung from controlling successfully. Ji Sung content to stall in guard here. Ji Sung wants to control from the top but Cardy keeps moving. Cardy tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ji Sung has gone for a leg lock! Cardy slips out almost immediately though and dives into Ji Sung's guard. Cardy trying to control the position from guard on top but Ji Sung is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Ji Sung has his foot on Cardy's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Cardy works his way back into a safe position though. Ji Sung looks gassed! Cardy trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Ji Sung looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Cardy wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ji Sung keeps working. Ji Sung is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Cardy pulls his head out easily. That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Cardy lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Ji Sung is looking for a sweep. Cardy tries for a kimura but Ji Sung is defending well. Cardy trying to control the action but Ji Sung is working from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dave Ji Sung dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Ji Sung throws a hook but Cardy avoids it easily. Cardy tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Ji Sung keeps the fight on the outside. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Cardy. Dan Cardy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ji Sung blocks a head kick by Cardy.

Cardy gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Ji Sung counters with a nice double leg into guard. Ji Sung passes Cardy's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Cardy knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ji Sung on the ground. Ji Sung is tying to control. Cardy wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Ji Sung is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Ji Sung is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Cardy defends it well. Ji Sung is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Cardy is just riding it out for now. Ji Sung eventually gives up the hold.

Cardy is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Ji Sung is stalling here. Cardy is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Ji Sung seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Cardy has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ji Sung can't do much from the bottom here. Cardy advances to full mount. Cardy working for a submission but Ji Sung is keeping him at bay. Cardy wants to stand but Ji Sung is holding on to him, trying to stop him posturing up.
Cardy trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Ji Sung is trying desperately to improve position.

Cardy is persistently looking for the submission but Ji Sung is defending it well.
Ji Sung tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Ji Sung wants to hold on but Cardy pushes him away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dave Ji Sung showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Ji Sung tries for a takedown but Cardy circles away easily and Cardy counters with a nice uppercut. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ji Sung with a poor takedown and Cardy counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Ji Sung's guard now. Cardy stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ji Sung swivels though and keeps the full guard. Ji Sung is looking for a triangle but Cardy pushes his legs off easily.
Dave Ji Sung has got the better of the ground game so far. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Cardy might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Ji Sung keeping moving, preventing Cardy from controlling successfully. Cardy controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Ji Sung is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Ji Sung working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Cardy doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Cardy manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Ji Sung looking for subs off his back but Cardy has passed one foot through into half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Cardy looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Ji Sung is looking to control Cardy's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Ji Sung avoid being mounted? Ji Sung looking for submissions off his back. Cardy thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Ji Sung looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Ji Sung actively working from the bottom here.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Ji Sung darts in trying to clinch and Cardy moves into the clinch. Ji Sung prevents Cardy from breaking the clinch. Ji Sung is trying to break the clinch but Cardy has him pressed against the cage. Cardy slows down the pace here.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Ji Sung jumps guard but Cardy stands there with Ji Sung around his waist. Ji Sung gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Dave Ji Sung is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Ji Sung wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
And that's the end of the fight! Dan Cardy showed his dominance in that final round. I think Ji Sung has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
