Coming up we have a heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Khabib Magamedov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thiago Meida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Illya Tyunina and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Meida just misses with a punch to the body.
Magamedov misses with a looping right.
Magamedov throws a hook but Meida blocks it.
Meida is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Magamedov.
Meida feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Magamedovs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Meida looks to land a left hand but Magamedov moved out of range nicely.
A punch lands to the side of Meida 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Magamedov misses with a looping right.
Nice defenses there by Magamedov.
Meida connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Magamedov's hands.
Magamedov lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Magamedov.
It looks like Thiago Meida has been cut.
Magamedov throws a lazy right hand but Meida sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Meida uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Magamedov.
Meida works the jab nicely.

Meida might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Meida throws a series of strikes that have Magamedov backpedaling.

Meida moves out of range as Magamedov strikes.

Magamedov throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Magamedov is breathing heavily.
Magamedov swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Magamedov takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Meida dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Magamedov misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Meida moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Meida throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Meida scores a knockdown with a big right hand! Magamedov beats the count and gets back to his feet. The referee asks him to walk forwards and it appears he is OK so we'll continue the bout.
Meida is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Meida uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Magamedov is rocked!
Meida looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Magamedov takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Oh Magamedov is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Meida connects with a body shot that sends Magamedov's belly button to the back.
Magamedov seems to have got his legs back now.
Magamedov takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Magamedov is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight.
Meida misses with a few strikes there.
Meida scores a flash knockdown with a right hook that drops Magamedov to his hands and knees! The ref pushes Meida away as he looks to land an illegal blow. Magamedov got an extra few seconds to recover there, which could have made all the differences as he stumbles back to his feet. The referee looks into his eyes and decides to allow the bout to continue. Can he survive?!

Thiago Meida tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
