The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Santiago Holmes and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alvarez slips a jab from Khan.
Khan drops Alvarez with a beautiful combination! Alvarez stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Khan is looking for the KO!
Alvarez is rocked!
It looks like Tiago Alvarez has been cut.
Khan slaps away a takedown attempt from Alvarez, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Oh Alvarez is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Alvarez drops his hands momentarily. Khan doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Alvarez staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Alvarez doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jamshed Khan!
