Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rodrigo Caneiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kent Hytten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hytten has chosen Wait and Bleed as his entrance music. Kent Hytten has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rodrigo Caneiro! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kent Hytten! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Cecil Peabody and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Caneiro has closed the distance and engaged Hytten in a clinch.
Caneiro fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Hytten escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Caneiro misses the shot to the body. Hytten digs a good hook to Caneiro's body.
Hytten misses with the combination.
A nice inside leg kick there by Hytten. That's going to slow Caneiro down. Hytten pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Caneiro misses with a hook. Caneiro looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Hytten is looking to control Caneiro's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Hytten avoid being mounted? Caneiro seems to be looking for submissions.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hytten tries to roll over but Caneiro keeps him under control. Caneiro is looking for a kimura here.
Caneiro wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hytten keeps working. Hytten is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Caneiro's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Caneiro's back! Hytten controlling the position well here. Caneiro rolled but Hytten kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.

Hytten is looking for the choke from the back position but Caneiro is controlling his hands well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Hytten lands with a big left hand that may well have hurt his opponent. Can Caneiro hold on?!
Caneiro is really stuck here.
Hytten has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. Caneiro trying to control the hands but Hytten won't let him. Caneiro is breathing heavily. Hytten throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Caneiro!
Caneiro tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Hytten controlling from mount. Hytten is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Caneiro can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hytten can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Caneiro is looking to escape. Hytten is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet! Caneiro throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Hytten scores with a one two! Caneiro had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
It looks like Rodrigo Caneiro has been cut. Hytten lands a brutal head kick. Caneiro looks out on his feet and Hytten throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
