2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Phil Brooks! The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Dirk Anderson and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rammhammer scores with a shot to the body.
Brooks shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Rammhammer pinned against the cage. Rammhammer gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Brooks shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Brooks was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Brooks is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Rammhammer is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Brooks wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Rammhammer, who protects the arm well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rammhammer is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Brooks's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Brooks goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Rammhammer rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Brooks's guard! Nice work there by Rammhammer! Brooks is looking for a triangle but Rammhammer pushes his legs off easily.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Brooks is not content to let Rammhammer control the position. Rammhammer is pressing down on Brooks's thigh, looking to free his foot. Brooks is holding on for now. Brooks looking to force a kimura from the bottom here. He's concentrating on that move too much though and Rammhammer pushes past his half guard into mount! Rammhammer looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Brooks is desperately trying to improve his position but Rammhammer has a good base and remains in mount. Brooks keeps trying to improve his position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Brooks is still trying to improve position. You get the feeling that Brooks really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Brooks is squirming around, avoiding Rammhammer's attempts to control the action. Rammhammer tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Rammhammer wants to free his trapped foot but Brooks is holding on for dear life with his legs. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Brooks doesn't succeed with the takedown and Rammhammer counters with a lovely straight right hand! Brooks shoots in and drives through. Rammhammer sprawls well. Rammhammer lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Brooks is rocked! Rudolf Rammhammer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Phil Brooks. Brooks looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Brooks misses with a takedown and Rammhammer counters with a left to the body. Brooks is breathing heavily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A jab from Rammhammer finds it's way through Brooks's defenses. Rammhammer sends Brooks crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Rammhammer is motioning to the referee to let Brooks up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet! Brooks is still on wobbly legs! Can Rammhammer finish him? The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Rammhammer fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Brooks square on the jaw! Damn, Brooks is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Rudolf Rammhammer! Rudolf Rammhammer thanked the fans post fight for their support. Phil Brooks was interviewed post fight and said 'I was unlucky but he was lucky and I will be back to kick his Ass!'.
