The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Snyder throws out a loose jab but Flash uses good head movement to avoid it. Snyder tries to clinch up. Snyder throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Flash sees it coming and avoids it easily. Snyder misses with a hook. Flash ducked under it nicely. Flash keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Good exchange - Flash coming out on top. Horrible takedown by Snyder or perhaps it was just good defense by Flash which made him look bad. Flash misses with a jab, cross combination.
Flash keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Snyder. Flash looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Flash thows a big elbow that misses. Flash decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Flash throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Snyder.
That's one minute gone in the round. Snyder throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Snyder is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Flash. Snyder throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Flash moves away from the strike by Snyder. Flash fails with the takedown. Snyder misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Flash.
Snyder is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Snyder's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems. Snyder lands a nice shot to the body.
Snyder throws a big shot that misses. Snyder rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Flash moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Snyder gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Flash counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Snyder's guard now. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cory Snyder. That's going to take a lot out of him. Snyder is breathing heavily. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Snyder has momentary wrist control but Flash slips an elbow through the middle. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Flash is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Flash accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Flash with a flurry of punches that miss. Snyder on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Snyder tries to get out of the position. Snyder preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Flash trying to control the position from guard on top but Snyder is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Flash connects with a couple of short punches. Flash pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Snyder is keeping the position for now. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Flash postures up and lands a big shot to Snyder's brow.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Flash works over Snyder with some ground and pound from guard. Snyder working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Flash. Snyder keeping moving, preventing Flash from controlling successfully. Snyder utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Flash has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Snyder has passed into side control.
Flash is looking to reverse the position. Snyder slips into full mount, dodging the strikes by Flash. Flash sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Flash is looking for a sweep. Snyder is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hanke Flash dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Cory Snyder is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Snyder has his takedown stuffed and Flash cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Snyder needs to keep his hands up - Flash had a free shot at his head there. Snyder works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Flash ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Snyder swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
so Flash counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Flash cracks Snyder with a solid left hand. Flash postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Flash content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Flash is in close to Snyder's body, working some short punches and elbows. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Flash working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Flash makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Snyder wants to stand but Flash is controlling the position. Flash landing with the ground and pound. Flash is pushing down on Snyder's leg trying to pass to half guard. Snyder is fighting to maintain full guard but Flash has managed to sneak the leg through. Flash is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Flash stands up out of the half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Snyder swings and misses with a shot to the body and Flash counters with a nice double leg into guard. Flash landing with the ground and pound. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Snyder is on top in guard.
Flash trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Snyder stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Flash swivels though and keeps the full guard. Snyder looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Snyder is looking to work some ground and pound but Flash has wrist control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Flash is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Flash prevents Snyder from improving his position. Ground and pound from Flash. Snyder might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Flash is nestled in close to Snyder, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Hanke Flash has got the better of the ground game so far. Flash decides to stand up. Flash shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Flash showed some decent athleticism there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Flash uses his free foot to push down on Snyder's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Snyder. Flash pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Snyder knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Flash on the ground. Snyder is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

Hanke Flash showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Snyder takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Flash drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Flash slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Flash lands an elbow. Flash working the ground and pound. Flash blocks the strikes from Snyder.
Snyder wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Both fighters are breathing heavily. Flash lands a decent elbow from side control. Snyder is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Snyder takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Flash lands a nice forearm strike. Flash working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Flash wants to control but Snyder is keeping him busy. Snyder defending against the ground and pound. Flash is looking to take a break and control but Snyder is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. No joy there for Flash, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Flash wants to control from the top but Snyder keeps moving. Flash is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Cory Snyder has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Flash throws a big right hand that misses. Flash looking to sit in guard and control but Snyder gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Snyder wants to get up but he can't break Flash's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Snyder throws a series of punches but Flash avoids them all with ease. Flash scores with a jab to the head.

Hanke Flash is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Snyder will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
And that's the end of the fight! Hanke Flash comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Flash has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
