Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ronaldo Faber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Hughs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Joe Hughs will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ronaldo Faber! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
38 - 23 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Joe Hughs! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Chris Downing and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hughs lands a high kick!
Hughs pushes Faber up against the cage in a clinch. Hughs landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Faber is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Hughs is defending well for now. Faber stalls. Faber trying to stall but Hughs improves his position.
Faber blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Hughs is working Faber over against the cage. A short right from Faber on the inside. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Faber leaning against his opponent.
Hughs using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Faber has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Faber is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hughs scores with an uppercut up the middle. Faber manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Ronaldo Faber. Hughs moves into the clinch. Hughs lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
It looks like Ronaldo Faber has been cut. Hughs putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Faber in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body. Hughs misses with a body punch.
Faber working aggressively here.
Faber drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Hughs with a knee to the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Faber takes an elbow to the temple. Hughs works on Faber's body with a couple of short punches. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Faber. Hughs lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Faber backwards. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Faber has a couple of punches blocked by Hughs.
Hughs misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Faber.
Hughs is defending well against a takedown attempt. Faber tries to stall but Hughs uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Faber tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Hughs lands an uppercut.
Ronaldo Faber's cut is getting worse. Faber controlling the action here for a moment.
Hughs lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Faber is rocked!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Faber takes a knee to the side of the body. Faber stalling against the cage.
Faber tries to pull guard but Hughs won't allow it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ronaldo Faber. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hughs with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Faber can't get the takedown.
Hughs breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
A slapping leg kick lands for Hughs.
Faber rushes Hughs and presses him up against the cage. Faber is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Hughs to keep the fight standing. Hughs missing with knees to the body.
A hook to the body from Hughs.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hughs throws a knee to the head but misses.
Faber takes a shot to the head. Faber trying to stall but Hughs improves his position.
Faber keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Hughs's efforts to push away. Faber tries to work over Hughs's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Hughs lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Hughs blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Faber is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Hughs pulls him back up using the underhooks. Faber tries for a takedown but Hughs manages to get underhooks.
Hughs misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Faber.

Hughs is pressed up against the cage. Faber has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Hughs down to the mat. Hughs avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Joe Hughs dominated that round. The cut man is working on Ronaldo Faber's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Faber shoots and misses and Hughs counters with a leg kick. Hughs just misses with a punch to the body.
Hughs seems to be stalking Faber here. He circles momentarily and then unleashes a devastatic head kick! Faber drops like a stone, out cold! WOW! Are you kidding me!? What a knockout!
