Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Chris Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Philip Ziskie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brown's entrance music is Many Men by 50 Cent. A fine choice. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Chris Brown!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Philip Ziskie!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Ryoma Takatsuka and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Brown.
Ziskie shoots in and drives through. Brown sprawls well.
Brown shoots in but no luck this time.
As Brown backs off Ziskie throws a huge counter combo but Brown manages to avoid it all.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chris Brown. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ziskie throws a head kick but Brown moves out of range.
Ziskie misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Ziskie swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Philip Ziskie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Brown moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Ziskie throws a left and a right that both miss
and Brown counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Brown takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Ziskie drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Brown manages to pull guard.
Brown lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
Brown postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ziskie preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Brown works a leg free and moves into half guard.
We've been hearing that Brown has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
Brown throwing shots but Ziskie is blocking nicely.
Brown not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Brown thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Ziskie's head.
Brown is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Brown missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Brown has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Ziskie regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Brown.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Brown working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Brown drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Brown jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Brown in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Brown tries to clinch up but Ziskie circles away and keeps his distance.
Ziskie lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Brown tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Ziskie manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Brown tries to clinch but Ziskie is having none of it.
Brown throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Ziskie's head.
Horrible takedown attempt by Ziskie or perhaps it was just good defense by Brown, which made it look bad.
Brown lands a big head kick that sends Ziskie tumbling to the mat! Brown takes a step backwards and waves Ziskie back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Philip Ziskie has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Brown lands a big right hand that sends Ziskie crashing to the mat! Brown stays standing though and waves Ziskie back to his feet!
Ziskie is rocked!
Brown tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Ziskie swivels and escapes.
Ziskie is still on wobbly legs! Can Brown finish him?
Ziskie misses with a leg kick
and Brown counters with a nice leg kick.
Ziskie looks winded!
Brown looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Ziskie is fending him off so far but Brown persists. Nope, Ziskie circles away and we're back to standing.
Brown cracks Ziskie with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Ziskie looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Brown finish him?
Ziskie lands a lovely overhand right.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Brown is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
A looping hook to the body misses from Ziskie. Brown does a little dance to reset his feet.
Brown throws a nice head kick!
Brown dodges the punch combination from Ziskie.
Brown half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Ziskie loads up on a big right hand but Brown slips the punch.
Brown swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Brown cracks Ziskie with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Brown has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Ziskie to stand back up!
Ziskie is keeping his hands low and just asking to be knocked out. Brown Raises his leg and lands a stunning axe kick! Ziskie is out cold, face down on the mat!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Chris Brown!
Chris Brown seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
