Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Basil McCrystal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chicken Burger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Basil McCrystal! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Chicken Burger! The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Winston Alpacca and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McCrystal pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Burger back to the cage. McCrystal follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. McCrystal lands with a nice combination. Burger backs away looking to recover.
It looks like Chicken Burger has been cut. The fight stays on the outside here - McCrystal looks like he's thinking about clinching though. And Burger tries to counter it with a takedown but McCrystal pushes his down on his head and steps out. McCrystal will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
McCrystal misses with a low kick. McCrystal fails with a takedown attempt. McCrystal tries to bum rush Burger with a series of wild strikes but Burger uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Basil McCrystal seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Burger tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. McCrystal manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Good standup being displayed there by McCrystal as he connects with a hook. Burger stuffs the takedown attempt from McCrystal. McCrystal gets slowly back to his feet. Burger tries a head kick but it misses.
This has been an exciting period of action! McCrystal tries to close the distance and clinch up but Burger swats him away and circles back towards the center. Burger appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. Burger dives in and scores a takedown into McCrystal's guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
That's one minute gone in the round. McCrystal trying to control the position here. Burger tries to free his leg and advance position but McCrystal is retaining full guard. McCrystal wants to improve his position but instead Burger has moved into half guard.
McCrystal blocking the ground and pound attempt from Burger. Still in half guard, Burger seems content to control. Burger tries to pass to full mount but McCrystal defends it. Burger not landing any meaningful shots this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Burger tries to stand but his hand is stuck under McCrystal. Burger stops McCrystal from getting back to his feet.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. McCrystal keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. McCrystal looks to land a combination. Burger sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. McCrystal uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Burger.
McCrystal throws a wild combination but nothing lands. McCrystal tries a low kick but Burger avoids it. Burger closes the distance and clinches up with McCrystal, looking for a takedown. Burger pushes McCrystal against the cage but McCrystal circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Burger pushes McCrystal against the cage but McCrystal circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Burger tries for a takedown but McCrystal sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. McCrystal seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. McCrystal throws a right hand that Burger ducks under and follows up with a left that Burger also avoids with ease. McCrystal throws a series of punches but Burger avoids them all with ease. McCrystal tries for a takedown but Burger circles away easily and Burger moves into the clinch. McCrystal is breathing heavily. Burger changes levels and goes for a takedown here. McCrystal fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Burger takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Burger darts in looking for a takedown but McCrystal gets double underhooks and turns Burger into the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. McCrystal swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
McCrystal throws a right and a left that Burger avoids nicely. McCrystal throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Burger tries to move into range but McCrystal moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! McCrystal comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Jab, jab by McCrystal - just one landing. Burger shoots in looking for a takedown but McCrystal manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Burger's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. McCrystal scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Nice jab there from McCrystal. McCrystal's corner calls for a 1-2. McCrystal obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. McCrystal swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Burger with the counter takedown but McCrystal avoids it easily. McCrystal looks for a takedown but Burger sprawls well. And Burger tries to counter it with a takedown but McCrystal pushes his down on his head and steps out. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Basil McCrystal dominated that round. The cut man is working on Chicken Burger's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
The fight moves into the clinch position. Burger is trying to maintain a safe position but McCrystal gets an underhook and turns Burger into the cage. McCrystal is trying to break the clinch but Burger is controlling him. McCrystal escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
McCrystal keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. McCrystal fails to land the takedown. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Burger needs to keep his hands up - McCrystal had a free shot at his head there. Basil McCrystal is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. McCrystal stuns Burger with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. McCrystal throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Burger counters with a nice double leg into guard. Burger has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Burger wants to control from the top but McCrystal keeps moving. McCrystal knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Burger on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Burger passes McCrystal's left leg - he's now in half guard. McCrystal trying to hold on to Burger's head to control him but Burger postures up.
Burger throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing McCrystal to regain full guard. Burger looking to pass the guard. Burger is in close to McCrystal's body, working some short punches and elbows.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Burger trying to control the position from guard on top but McCrystal is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Burger trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Burger wants to control from the top but McCrystal keeps moving. Burger is looking to stand up but McCrystal won't let him.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. A nice combination there by McCrystal.
Burger avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
McCrystal cracks Burger with a right hand to the side of the head. Burger shoots in but no luck this time.

Basil McCrystal has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chicken Burger. McCrystal throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Burger is defending well against a takedown attempt. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Burger gets a trip takedown into half guard. Burger missing with the ground and pound from half guard. It looks like Burger is going to stand back up.
McCrystal looks like he's trying to stand up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Burger looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Burger trying to control the action but McCrystal is working from the bottom. Burger seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

McCrystal lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Burger circles away quickly and effectively. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Burger dodges the punch combination from McCrystal.
McCrystal throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Burger stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Burger takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
McCrystal throws a wild combination but nothing lands. McCrystal moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Basil McCrystal is winning the standup battle so far. Burger throws a sloppy head kick and McCrystal counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Burger will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Burger shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. McCrystal is trying to defend but Burger finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Burger not landing any meaningful shots this time. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Burger tries to stand but his arm is trapped. McCrystal is not content to let Burger control the position. Burger throwing shots but McCrystal is blocking nicely. Burger wants to take a breather but McCrystal is having none of it. McCrystal is looking for a sweep. Burger is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Burger tries to stand but his arm is trapped.

McCrystal walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Burger misses with a kick to the body.
McCrystal is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Burger looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? McCrystal is fending him off so far but Burger persists. Nope, McCrystal circles away and we're back to standing. Burger shoots in for a takedown but McCrystal shows good takedown defense. Basil McCrystal has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chicken Burger. McCrystal throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Burger. McCrystal lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Burger backs up against the cage.
McCrystal misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
McCrystal defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Burger. It looked like McCrystal was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Burger shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Burger is looking to stall here but McCrystal recovers full guard. McCrystal is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Burger postures up in McCrystal's guard and throws a big left but McCrystal blocks it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. McCrystal working a defensive guard here.
Burger throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as McCrystal works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Burger wants to control from the top but McCrystal keeps moving. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Burger passes into half guard. Burger wants to control but McCrystal is keeping him busy. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Burger looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
And that's the end of the fight! Basil McCrystal showed his dominance in that final round. I think McCrystal has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
