The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Perry is defended easily by Green.
Green fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Green closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Perry tries to score a body lock takedown but Green shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Deangelo Perry. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Perry really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Perry changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Green fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Green throws an overhand right that drops Perry like a sack of potatoes! Green dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
