And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Richard Clark and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alvarez looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Alvarez misses with an uppercut. Walker saw that one coming.
Hakeen Alvarez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Walker looks for a takedown but Alvarez sprawls well.
Walker closes the distance and clinches.
Walker tries to pull guard but Alvarez forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Walker tries to score a body lock takedown but Alvarez shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kit Walker. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Walker manages to break the clinch.
Alvarez throws a series of strikes that have Walker backpedaling.
It looks like Kit Walker has been cut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Alvarez pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Walker back to the cage. Alvarez follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Walker throws a wild hook but Alvarez just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Walker gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Alvarez raises his hands in celebration and walks away!
