Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Soto Rojas!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Park Ji Sung!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Phil Schofield and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ji Sung moves out of range of the body kick from Rojas.

Ji Sung scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Ji Sung is trying to ground and pound but Rojas uses the momentary lack of control by Ji Sung to regain half guard.
Ji Sung is trying to control. Rojas wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Rojas controlling the leg, holding on to half guard.
Rojas is trying to maintain the position but Ji Sung is very close to passing his half guard.
Ji Sung throwing shots but Rojas is blocking nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ji Sung not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Rojas tries to roll over but Ji Sung keeps him under control.

Rojas looking for subs from the bottom but Ji Sung mounts him!
Ji Sung working the ground and pound effectively.
Rojas wants to control but Ji Sung is having none of it.
Rojas is working to get back to half guard.
Ji Sung lands a nice shot to the head.
Ji Sung tries to control but Rojas wriggling away.
Ji Sung landing strikes from the mount and Rojas is in trouble!
Rojas sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Rojas manages to get to full guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Rojas has momentary wrist control but Ji Sung slips an elbow through the middle.
Rojas is pulling down on Ji Sung's head. It's preventing any offense from Ji Sung, at least for the moment.
Rojas keeping moving, preventing Ji Sung from controlling successfully.

Rojas is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Ji Sung rolls with it to try and escape but Rojas cranks on the arm and Ji Sung is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

After winning the bout, Soto Rojas thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
