Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Julius Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Toilfer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackson's entrance music is 2pac - All Eyez On Me. A fine choice. Julius Jackson has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Julius Jackson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Brian Toilfer! The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, David Hoff and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Toilfer misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Jackson takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Toilfer tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jackson swats him away and circles back towards the center. Jackson went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Jackson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Toilfer jabs at Jackson's body. Toilfer fails with a takedown attempt. Toilfer shoots in for a takedown but Jackson shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Jackson misses with the combination.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Toilfer shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Toilfer goes for a double leg but Jackson avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Jackson continues to drive forward. Julius Jackson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brian Toilfer. Jackson tries to clinch there but Toilfer circles away.

Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Jackson goes for a takedown attempt but Toilfer pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Toilfer tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Jackson just stands there and leans against the cage. Jackson misses with a hook from the clinch. Jackson lands a takedown into guard.
Toilfer pushes Jackson off and scrambles back to his feet.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Toilfer throws a leg kick that misses. Toilfer slaps away a takedown attempt from Jackson, before circling back to the center of the mat. Jackson throws a sloppy head kick and Toilfer moves out of range easily. Toilfer gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Toilfer gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Jackson.
Jackson looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Jackson misses with a punch to the body.
Jackson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Toilfer throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Toilfer is looking to clinch but Jackson is avoiding it.
Jackson scores with a one two! Toilfer had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. No luck for Toilfer with that takedown attempt. A punch combination from Jackson misses. Toilfer scores with a three punch combo!
Jackson shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Toilfer defends it nicely. Toilfer is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Jackson is breathing heavily. Jackson gets a clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jackson has had enough of the clinch but Toilfer keeps him there for the moment. Toilfer just leaning against Jackson, taking a breather. A bit of stalling here from Jackson.
Jackson has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Toilfer is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Jackson is looking to control Toilfer's arms but Toilfer gets an underhook and turns him. Now Jackson has his back to the cage. Toilfer effectively controlling the action here. Toilfer pulls guard successfully.

Jackson postures up in Toilfer's guard and throws a big left but Toilfer blocks it. Jackson working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Julius Jackson dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Toilfer only half commits to the counter leg kick. Toilfer lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Jackson backs up against the cage.
Jackson throws a right and a left that both miss. Jackson throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Toilfer shoots in and gets a takedown into Jackson's guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jackson working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Toilfer. Jackson being controlled here, momentarily. Toilfer wants to control from the top but Jackson keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round. Toilfer with a flurry of punches that miss. Toilfer loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Toilfer gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Toilfer dives in for a single leg takedown but Jackson sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Jackson tries to clinch up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Jackson is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Toilfer. Jackson tries to clinch up. Jackson tries a head kick but it misses.

Danga de danga de dang - Jackson scores with a four punch combination! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Toilfer closes the distance and clinches up with Jackson, looking for a takedown. Toilfer pushes Jackson against the cage but Jackson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Jackson throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Jackson misses with a double jab
and Jackson takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Toilfer fails with an attempt to clinch.

An attempted straight right counter from Jackson misses the target. No luck for Toilfer with that takedown attempt. Toilfer pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Jackson tries a head kick but it misses.

Jackson has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Jackson there as he acknowledges the shot. Jackson moves into range and clinches up with Toilfer. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Jackson has Toilfer pressed against the cage.

Jackson tries to stand and escape but Toilfer actually recovers to full guard. Jackson throws an elbow that misses. Toilfer uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Jackson's guard. Nice move by Toilfer! Toilfer trying to control but Jackson is working from the bottom. Jackson wants to get back to his feet but Toilfer is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Toilfer looking to sit in guard and control but Jackson gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Jackson postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Jackson trying to control the position from guard on top but Toilfer is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Jackson gets to his feet. Toilfer looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Toilfer fails to land the takedown. Toilfer wants to clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Toilfer doesn't manage to clinch there - Jackson circles away.
Jackson is looking for a counter combo. Toilfer shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Jackson napping and manages to drive through into side control! Jackson wants to get back to his feet. Toilfer swings around for an armbar but Jackson sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Toilfer's guard. Jackson is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Toilfer can do to turn this around? Jackson decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Toilfer, up you get! Julius Jackson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Toilfer shoots for a takedown but Jackson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Jackson scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Jackson cracks Toilfer with an elbow. That is naaassty. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jackson decides to take the fight back to the feet. Jackson swinging wildly here.

Toilfer manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Jackson on his heels. He'll look to pass Jackson's guard now, I'm sure. Julius Jackson is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Jackson wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Toilfer trying to control but Jackson is working from the bottom.
And that's the end of the fight! Julius Jackson showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Jackson, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
