The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vir throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Mcfarland is rocked!

It looks like Guillermo Mcfarland has been cut.
Vir misses with a jab, cross combination.
Oh Mcfarland is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Mcfarland seems to have got his legs back now.
Mcfarland misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Vir shoots in looking for a takedown but Mcfarland manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Vir's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Guillermo Mcfarland has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bryce Vir.

Mcfarland is trying to get an arm triangle but Vir is defending well.

Mcfarland has hold of Vir's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Vir tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Mcfarland cranks the arm and Vir screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Vir, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
