Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tony Tiger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nicklas Lidstrom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Nicklas Lidstrom! The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, David Hoff and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tiger misses with a hook. Lidstrom ducked under it nicely. Lidstrom swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Lidstrom throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Lidstrom connects with a single shot there. Lidstrom looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Tiger misses with a hook. A big right from Lidstrom misses. A big left from Lidstrom misses. Lidstrom misses with a body shot.
Tiger was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. A looping hook to the body misses from Tiger. Lidstrom does a little dance to reset his feet. Tiger misses with a wild body shot. Lidstrom ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Tiger throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Lidstrom throws out a counter right but Tiger avoids it with no problem. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A jab from Tiger misses. Tiger wants to control from the top but Lidstrom keeps moving. Tiger is looking to work some ground and pound but Lidstrom has wrist control. Tiger scoring with punches to the head and body. Tiger prevents Lidstrom from getting back to his feet. Tiger lands a couple of digs. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Tiger throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Lidstrom works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Tiger content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lidstrom wants to stand and escape but Tiger is having none of it. Tiger will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Lidstrom might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Lidstrom lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Lidstrom misses with a hook. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
