Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kalle Kettu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tito Kerr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Kalle Kettu has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Kalle Kettu! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Tito Kerr! The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Winston Alpacca and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kerr drops his hands momentarily and Kettu takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Kettu definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Kettu looks to throw the jab but Kerr is out of range. Kerr tries to close the distance and clinch but Kettu swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Donk. Kettu catches Kerr right on the button with a cross.
It looks like Tito Kerr has been cut. Kettu misses the jab. Kerr feints the counter takedown. Kettu gets caught napping as Kerr dives in and scores a takedown. Kettu manages to retain guard. Kettu being controlled here, momentarily. Kettu working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Kerr. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kerr working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Kettu's head. Kerr with a flurry of punches that miss. Kettu knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kerr accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Kerr looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Kerr is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Kettu looks to score with a jab to the body but Kerr is just out of range. Kettu missing with a left hand there. Kerr was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. And Kerr tries to counter it with a takedown but Kettu pushes his down on his head and steps out. Kettu throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Kettu waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Kerr. Kerr keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Kerr throws a chopping leg kick but Kettu manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Kerr shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Kerr has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Kerr is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Kettu breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Kalle Kettu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A combination from Kettu does no damage. Nice defenses there by Kerr. Kerr wants to counter the offense by Kettu and move into the clinch position. Kettu uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Kerr has time to react. Kalle Kettu is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. A telegraphed right hand from Kettu misses the target. Kerr rushes Kettu and presses him up against the cage. Kerr blocks a punch to the side of the head.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Kettu blocking the ground and pound attempt from Kerr. That's four minutes gone in the round. Kerr cracks Kettu with an elbow. That is naaassty. Kettu wants to get back to his feet but Kerr drags him back down. Kerr grinds an elbow into Kettu's temple. Both fighters are breathing heavily. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Kerr scoring with punches and elbows. Kettu takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
