And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Souza misses with a wild body shot.
Lister misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Souza drops down looking for a counter takedown but Lister sprawls and moves away.
Lister throws a shot to the body.
Lister bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Souza 's head backwards.
Souza takes a shot right to the bread basket.

Lister closes the distance and clinches.
Lister lands with a short punch from the clinch.
A nice left hand lands by Lister.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Lister has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Souza is trying to pull guard but Lister has him pressed against the cage.
Lister scores with a shot to the side of Souza 's head.
Lister lands with a short shot to the head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Souza 's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Souza tries to break free but Lister pushes him back against the cage.
Lister lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

Souza is rocked!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Lister unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Souza ! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Lister is unloading with more strikes now! Souza drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
