The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Da Silva gets a takedown into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Lindsey tries to roll over but Da Silva keeps him under control.
Da Silva drops an elbow to the side of Lindsey's head.
Lindsey really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Lindsey is controlling Da Silva's position as best he can from this difficult position.

Da Silva takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Lindsey knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Da Silva on the ground.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Lindsey tries to control the position but Da Silva now has his back.

Lindsey is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
