The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Badoyan goes for a double leg but Stehling avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Stehling continues to drive forward.

Stehling tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Badoyan was well out of range. Poor timing from Stehling.

Badoyan working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Stehling doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Stehling manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Stehling has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
