The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gainer shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Stormare pinned against the ropes. Stormare gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Stormare swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Gainer is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Good leg kick by Gainer there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Gainer shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Gainer closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The fighters are battling for position here. Stormare manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
