Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark Wader (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeff Kennedy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wader's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Good, Bad and the Ugly. Jeff Kennedy is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jeff Kennedy! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Ian Loll and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kennedy drives through and clinches with Wader against the cage.
Kennedy presses Wader against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Kennedy pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Kennedy lands the left hand.
It looks like Mark Wader has been cut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Wader decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Kennedy pushes Wader off looking to stand but Wader dives back in and keeps control.
Kennedy is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Wader is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kennedy can do anything to dispel that myth. The fighters are battling for position here. Kennedy manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Wader throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Kennedy works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Kennedy striking off his back but it's not causing Wader any problems. Wader trying to control but Kennedy is working from the bottom. Kennedy wants to sweep here but Wader controlling him for the moment. Wader has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Kennedy tries to clinch there but Wader circles away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wader misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Kennedy throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Wader shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kennedy pinned against the cage. Kennedy gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Wader is breathing heavily. Kennedy instigates a clinch. Kennedy pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Kennedy moves into range and clinches up with Wader. Wader tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mark Wader. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kennedy lands a right hand that snaps the head of Wader backwards. Kennedy lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Kennedy breaks the clinch.

Kennedy clobbers Wader with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
That's two minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kennedy feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Wader sprawling to the canvas! Wader rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Kennedy finish him?!
Wader is rocked! Wader swats away the attempt to clinch by Kennedy. Oh Wader is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Kennedy has managed to clinch.
Wader seems to have got his legs back now. Kennedy escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kennedy thuds his right hand into Wader's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Wader dodges the punch combination from Kennedy.
Kennedy fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Wader, pushing him back against the cage. Kennedy lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Wader backwards. A nice right hand lands inside from Kennedy. Kennedy scores with a nice hook to the head. Kennedy lands a body shot. Kennedy is working Wader over against the cage. Kennedy lands a body punch. Kennedy lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Kennedy working some nice short punches in the clinch. Kennedy pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Kennedy forces Wader back against the cage and clinches. A shot in the inside from Kennedy.

Kennedy wants to clinch. Kennedy moves into the clinch. Wader tries for a takedown but Kennedy manages to get underhooks.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Kennedy keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Kennedy tries to clinch up. A slow jab from Wader misses its intended target. The crowd cheers as Kennedy lands an impressive looking overhand right. Wader doesn't seem phased though. Kennedy lands with a nice combination. Wader backs away looking to recover. Kennedy lunges at Wader with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Wader's hand. Kennedy fails with an attempt to clinch.
Kennedy moves into range and clinches up with Wader. Kennedy is trying to break free. Kennedy wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Wader has Kennedy pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Kennedy manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Kennedy manages to break the clinch.
Wader shoots in but no luck this time. Wader shoots in but no luck this time. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Wader fails with the takedown. Kennedy connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Kennedy has Wader up against the cage in a clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jeff Kennedy dominated that round. The cut man is working on Mark Wader's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Wader tries for a takedown but Kennedy sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Kennedy tries to clinch but Wader is having none of it. Wader wants to clinch. Kennedy lands a nice hook to Wader's body. Wader takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Wader takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Jeff Kennedy seems to be getting the better of the standup. Kennedy lands with a big left! Wader is wobbled badly! Kennedy comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Wader to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
