Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jet Li (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sudo Nym (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Sudo Nym was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Sudo Nym!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Li throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Nym.
Nym changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Nym shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Li pinned against the cage. Li gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Li will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Li ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Nym has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Li.
Li scores with a one two! Nym had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Nym is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Li is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Li is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Nym can do to turn this around?
Li pushes Nym away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Nym gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Li, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
