Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Paddy Tate (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bill Bremner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Paddy Tate! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Bill Bremner! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Colin Fotheringham and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bremner slips a jab from Tate. Tate misses with a double jab.
Bremner throws a sloppy head kick and Tate moves out of range easily. Bremner misses with the body kick letting Tate counter with a right hand. Bremner checks a leg kick. A nice side step and Bremner releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Tate takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
That kick from Tate tenderised Bremner's leg. Bremner is trying to keep his angry face on. Bremner wants to clinch up but Tate keeps it at a distance. Nice jab there from Tate. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bremner throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Bremner blocks a jab. Bremner misses with a looping left. Tate throwing a counter right hand but Bremner manages to avoid it. Tate fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Bremner checks it well. Tate on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bremner plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Tate pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Tate throws a leg kick that misses. Bremner tries to counter by closing the distance. Tate takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Bremner delivers a nice body kick. Bremner throws a nice head kick!
Bremner fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Tate checks it well. Tate looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger. Tate misses with an uppercut. Tate throws a body shot but no joy. Bill Bremner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Tate lands a jab to the nose. Donk. Tate catches Bremner right on the button with a cross. Tate scores with a crisp jab that stopped Bremner in his tracks.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Bremner blocks a jab. Bremner steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Tate. Bremner uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Tate. Bremner clobbers Tate with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Bremner throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Bremner throws a front kick that sends Tate stumbling back into the cage. Tate has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Tate there as he acknowledges the shot. Tate looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Bremner throws an off balance right hand
and Tate counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Bremner buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Bremner lands with a nice body kick. Tate ducks under a wild hook from Bremner. Tate bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Tate appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Bremner pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bremner circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Tate drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Bremner follows Tate to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:07 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bill Bremner! A relieved looking Bill Bremner thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
