Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chris Shaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ding Dong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ding Dong!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Ryoma Takatsuka and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shaw shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Dong counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Nice strikes from Dong there.
Dong stands up from half guard.
Shaw closes this distance looking for a takedown but Dong circles away.
Shaw shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Dong sprawls well. Dong wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Shaw gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chris Shaw. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Shaw is breathing heavily.
Shaw goes for a double leg but Dong avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Dong continues to drive forward.
Dong moves into the clinch.
Dong misses with a hook to the ribs.
Shaw can't get the takedown.
Dong has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Shaw is trying to keep an underhook but Dong manages to get the takedown into half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Dong content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Shaw could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Dong is trying for a kimura here. Shaw looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Dong wins by kimura!
