The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, David Hoff and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown attempt by Kirby or perhaps it was just good defense by Hernandez, which made it look bad.
And Hernandez tries to counter it with a takedown but Kirby pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Kirby feints and as Hernandez raises his hands in defense, Kirby changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Kirby wants to pass the guard but Hernandez is keeping the position.
Hernandez is looking for a triangle but Kirby pushes his legs off easily.
Kirby has gone for a leg lock! Hernandez slips out almost immediately though and dives into Kirby's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hernandez wants to control from the top but Kirby keeps moving.
Kirby definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Kirby is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Hernandez's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Hernandez's back!

That was a close round but I would say that Pink Kirby will probably get the nod.

We've been informed that Hernandez has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Kirby gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Kirby tries to get to full guard but Hernandez has control of the leg.

Hernandez maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Kirby could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Hernandez has cracked it and Kirby is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Hernandez!
